LOUISA BABARI

Russo Algerian, born in Moscow, Louisa Babari lives and works in Paris. A graduate of the Institut of Political studies of Paris and the National Institute Of Oriental Languages and Civilizations, cinema section, she produces films, sound installations and collages that invest the shift process, explore the small scales histories and family archives. Her works are exhibited in museums and art centers in France and abroad. Her work results in a publication, Aesthetics of the antrum, published by the Madrid publishing house Cabeza de chorlito. She contributes to the development of Afrikadaa, first francophone African online magazine dedicated to contemporary art, for which she writes essays produces meetings and performances.
