El Hadji Malick Ndiaye

El Hadji Malick NDIAYE holds a doctorate in Art History from Université Rennes II. He is also a graduate of the National Institute of Heritage (Paris) and is a former fellow of the National Institute of Art History (Paris). Former post-doctoral candidate of the Laboratory of Excellence Creation, Arts and Heritage (Labex CAP) and the Research Center on Arts and Language (EHESS / CNRS), he is currently a Researcher at IFAN / Ch. A. Diop (Dakar University Cheikh Anta Diop), and the Curator of the Théodore Monod Museum of African Art and General Secretary of ICOM / Senegal. He is a member of the Orientation Committee of Dak’art  2018 and directed its Commission of Encounters and exchanges.

He teaches History of Art and Cultural Heritage, collaborates with several journals and participates in various international scientific activities. As a theoretician and curator, his publications deal with modern / contemporary art and global history, cultural policies and African museum institutions.
