Public lecture with RoseLee Goldberg

In her contribution to the RAW Académie, Goldberg will guide the fellows through the history of performance art and the basis for which her nonprofit arts organisation was created. She will discuss the commissioning process with Tracey Rose, and feature highlights from Performa 17 with its focus on the idea of visual activism. During the seminar, fellows will be encouraged to share and reflect on the extent to which performance art in their own environments are shaped by cultural and socio-political developments.
