Pencco : Cultural Policy

RAW Material Company is pleased to invite you to the Pencco Day of our new Cultural Policy program at Zone B, rue sans soleil, Villa 2A on Friday March 27 starting from 3 pm.

The thematic focus of the two panels for the Pencco day revolves around the dynamics of cultural exchange regarding contemporary challenges and through a historical perspective of structuring and succession.

• The first panel in the Pencco will discuss artists' rights and intellectual property, how to track works after acquisition with Prof. Aziz Dieng (President of WIPO's Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights), Viyé Diba(Senegalese visual artist and geographer), Ken Aicha Sy (Curator, researcher and cultural producer, director of Galerie Le Manège) and Sylvain Sankalé (member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA)) alongside other guests whose names will be announced soon under the moderation of Aboubacar Demba Cissokho (journalist and art critic).

• The following panel in the Pencco will address "Preservation of Modern Heritage and Management of Succession Rights" with Océane Harati (founder and director of OH GALLERY and OH Institute), Prof. El Hadji Malick Ndiaye (art historian and curator at IFAN/UCAD, Théodore Monod Museum), Khalifa Ababacar Dieng (Set designer, exhibition curator, and artist) alongside other guests whose names will be announced soon under the moderation of Massamba Mbaye (Historian, Exhibition Curator, and Art Critic).
